COMFISH N.V., established in 1987 is one of the pioneering company’s of  the aquaculture sector in Suriname (S. America).

COMFISH is a 100% private enterprise the shareholder is N.V. van Alen’s Beton Industrie (www.vabi.sr).

The farm is established at the plantation Rust & Werk, located on the right-hand riverbank of the Commewijne river, app. 5 km from the Atlantic Ocean and close to the capital city Paramaribo.

Currently we have 4.5 ha earthen (semi-intensive) and 2.7 ha concrete (intensive) ponds available..

At the the moment we are producing fish on very small scale basis.
