SURIMEP 2017: ”OPTIMISING RESOURCE INDUSTRY LINKAGES TO CATALYSE SURINAME’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT”
The 2nd edition of SURIMEP, Suriname International Mining, Energy & Petroleum Conference & Exhibition will be held on 1 – 3 November 2017.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Suriname in partnership with AME Trade Ltd and will take place at the Chamber of Commerce of Paramaribo, Suriname. The event will bring together key players of the mining, energy and petroleum sectors of Suriname and nearby regions under one roof.
The main theme of SURIMEP 2017 is “Optimising resource industry linkages to catalyse Suriname’s economic development”
More than 350 delegates, 25 sponsors and 45 exhibitors attended the Conference and Exhibition from 24 countries participated in the inaugural event. SURIMEP will feature three days of conference sessions, pre-event training, post event touristic and industry tours, as well as a packed social program.
