WE ARE MAKING FARMING SEXY (…AGAIN…) AT THE UNITED BUSINESS FAIR
Working in the mud, too much work with no fair income and no steady buyers…these are a few much heard assumptions why people don’t invest in farming education and production. We at B4Agro&Food Systems understand these long rooted views on traditional farming. So we developed new ways of farming to make the agricultural sector attractive and so to speak sexy.
What would you say to farming 4.0: Production of clean, fresh, local and healthy greens; No electricity needed for the grow units operations; No greenhouses needed; 60% savings on labor costs; 80% lesser water usage, 50% lower investments in pest control, More effective and efficient application of fertilizer; Higher yield on crops; Easy upscale plan; Lower investments; Marketing model with 4 sure turnover margins and thus making farming sexy (again, was it ever…?).
With the farming concept we developed to bring low tech systems to Suriname it has been a real rollercoaster for us this last 5 years. Now conducting our 85th project we can say we’re household brand in farming in this beautiful country. From the first ground model “Krakti” we moved to the most popular table model
“Opo Krakti” and now launching B4 Mini Farms Modules with a minimal of 40 Opo Krakti units and thus minimal 1200 long term crops. Production is in reach, it’s a choice!
