ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT, WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FINANCE MANAGER.

Our client is a leading paint manufacturer in Suriname who operates at international standards with advanced paint technology. It supplies top quality paint to Suriname and the region and is technically supported by a global parent company.

To ensure accurate financial reporting and achieve corporate financial objectives (profitability and working capital), our client is looking for an experienced and driven Finance Manager.

The Finance Manager:

• Oversees accounting and finance processes to ensure their accuracy and completeness as wel as compliance with Group requirements for internal control and maintains the reliability of financial statements.
• Provides leadership in the reporting of Trial Balance and filings of local statutory.
• Manages working capital, customer credit functions and optimizes processes to enhance cash flow and minimize risks.
• Manages the Capital Expenditure according to the business plan and initiatives to effectively allocate financial resources.
• Acts as business partner and provides the business with financial controlling analysis, to enable operational financial decision making.
• Manages finance and accounting activities through the preparation of accurate financial forecasts and appropriate planning.
• Improves local financial systems and procedures that align with the company’s business strategy to provide key information in a timely manner.
• Manages a team of 3 staff and fosters a collaborative work environment.

Requirements and competencies:

• Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
• Minimal 5 years of relevant work experience in audit/controlling/public accounting and/or Industrial listed company.
• Fluent in English.
• Acquainted with ERP (HFM, SAP Be One) and Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on mentality, Team player, Resilient, Strong Leadership skills.
